We are all
multi-storied
Stories help us make meaning of our lives and the world around us. Sometimes, we become stuck when a problem story begins to define who we are, or when parts of ourselves carry pain, fear, or beliefs shaped by difficult experiences.
Therapy offers a space to explore these stories, get to know the different parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion, and reconnect with the strengths, wisdom, and possibilities that may have been overshadowed. We are more than our problems, and no single part of us tells our whole story.

Services
Therapy
I see individuals (6 years of age and up), couples, and groups. I work in person and virtually. Initially, I see clients weekly. Six to eight sessions in, we will check in to see if you are moving toward the goal/s you envisioned. At that point, we can alter our schedule. We can meet monthly or as needed depending on what works for you.
Clinical Supervision
I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 1993 (LCS#16402). I have contracted with agencies and with individuals in this capacity. I work with each supervisee to determine how I can best support you in growing your clinical skills in keeping your licensure goals.
Coaching
I specialize in coaching psychotherapists and others in the helping professions in relation to career development and transitions. During our first session, you will tell me about your goal and how it connects to your values, hopes and dreams.
Consultation & Training
Over the years I have had the pleasure of working providing training workshops and consulting to many Bay Area non-profit organizations including: La Clínica de la Raza, Safe and Sound, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital (Oakland), the (now defunct) Latinx Center of Excellence in Behavioral Health at UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare, Stanford University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and La Mesita.
